Curious George

We had a super fun time today with cousin Wyatt and Peggy at the Children's Museum. Curious George is the current theme and the boys had a lot of fun together. As a side note I'd like to add that going on a weekday during the school year is awesome. We had the place all to ourselves! So fun!

2nd Annual Family Football Classic (FFC)

What a gorgeous day for the 2nd Annual Family Football Classic! We had a lot of fun today watching the Vikings crush those 49ers! After the game ended, Jason and the kids took on the other adults for our own game of touch football. Likewise, the kids had fun crushing the adults. :)

Batman Live

This weekend, Jason took Colin, Justin, and Karl to see Batman Live at the Excel Center. The boys are very much into Superheros so they greatly enjoyed the show. Meanwhile, I had a girls afternoon with Laura, Deborah, and Adam. We went shopping and Laura introduced me to the ultimate girlie store, "Justice." It was a sparkle spectacular!

Twins Game

This past weekend we watched the Twins take home a victory over the Cleveland Indians. The game was a "6:00" start and we thought it might be fun for the boys to see a night game. However, it was the night Tom Kelly's number was retired and our 6:00 start became a 7:00 start after a nice ceremony honoring "TK." We also got cool miniature wooden oars. :) It was a fun night and even better with a 3-0 win. Go Twins!

Jason's Birthday-Madden's Resort

This year I surprised Jason and planned a fun birthday weekend at Maddens Resort in Brainerd, MN. My parents and Matt and Deborah were so awesome and watched the boys for us. Colin and Justin loved the slumber party at the Meissners and Adam was so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and play with their dog, Howard. The resort was so AMAZING! It was so relaxing and beautiful! They are known for their golf courses and their signature course, "The Classic" lives up to the hype! We got home on Monday, Jason's actual birthday, and the boys took him out miniature golfing.

1st Grade!

Colin started 1st grade this week! It is going to be an awesome school year!
