Slice of Shoreview

Also new to us this year was the local Slice of Shoreview event. We had a very fun Friday evening on the bungee trampoline, climbing wall, dunk tank, and carnival rides all while listening to live music and eating greasy fair food. Delightful!!

Aquatennial Parade

Last Wednesday night we headed to downtown Minneapolis for their yearly torchlight parade. It was our first Aquatennial Parade and the boys loved it--mostly 'cause they got to stay up way past their bedtime. :) We found great seats along the curb and sat and watched numerous royalty floats and marching bands. The boys even got some candy. The big hit of the night was the free hula hoops. The hip swiveling contests continue. . .

Cabin!!

Once again, Jason's parents rented the awesome cabin near Willmar, MN! We got to spend three delightful Summer days playing and relaxing at the lake! We got to fish, swim, canoe, play yard games, and roast s'mores at the campfire. It was a very awesome and restful weekend!
