Summer Birthdays

There are many Summer birthdays in my family. We usually get together at a park or beach to celebrate with all the cousins. This year we tried something new and played a game or whiffle ball last weekend. It was kids verses adults and we had a lot of fun.

Norway Lake

We had another awesome time with Jason's folks on Norway Lake! We headed to the cabin after Colin's baseball game late Wednesday night. We had two amazing days of cabin life before heading back to the cities for another baseball game on Saturday. This year the fish were biting with our crew getting a total of seven fish. Colin caught the most with three while Justin caught his first fish ever--a monster size bass!








We also had a ton of fun in the water and on the beach. :)

Birthday/4th of July Weekend

What a great weekend! Turning 36 feels awesome! I am such a spoiled mommy! I woke up on Wednesday to beautiful flowers, balloons, and the boys painted me the sweetest jewelry box! Later that night Jason and I went out to dinner at Liffy's a very cool rooftop place in St. Paul.




The next day we took the boys to Long Lake Regional Park near our house. It was such a fun day with great bike trails, fun new park, and picnic by the beach. Love, Love, Love












On the 4th of July we went over to a friends house for outdoor grillin' fun. Between the three families there are 12 kids under the age of 9. We all had so much fun! The kids had lots of water fun with an inflatable slide, water balloons, while the adults got to enjoy a leisure Summer afternoon on the deck. Later in the evening we headed to the Blaine Soccer complex to watch a soccer game and fireworks. Wow, what an impressive fireworks display. Now we are getting excited for a few days at a lake cabin with Jason's folks. Summer is so awesome!
