4th Annual Family Football Classic

Last weekend we got together with my family for the 4th Annual FFC! It was a beautiful autumn day with trees starting to turn color and football on the tv. :) It was another close match between the adults and kids in our touch football game. The kids clinched the victory using Adam as their speedy running back. A beautiful scenic hayride finished the afternoon. It was such an awesome day of fun, family, and football! :)

Chlidren's Museum-Thomas the Train

For the next couple years it is going to be extra special Mommy and Adam time on Wednesdays before he heads off to Kindergarten. This week we headed to the Children's Museum to see Thomas the Train. It was a super fun morning with my baby!

Valleyfair

Labor Day weekend we took the boys to Valleyfair for the first time! It was a gorgeous day to enjoy all the fun rides. The favorite ride of the day had to be the Wave. It is a giant boat that rides up a hill and then down a hill creating a monstrous wave soaking everyone inside including bystanders.

 

Back to school

I can't believe it is September, and the boys are back in school. Colin is in 3rd grade and has the well loved Miss Heintz for a teacher. Justin started Kindergarten at the new Kindergarten Center. He also has an awesome teacher, Mrs. Malette. We were so proud of Justin. He wasn't scared or nervous and this week has gone really well for both of them. They do ride different buses, but they are both the first ones on and the first ones off each day. Adam moved up to the yellow room at daycare and greatly misses Justin. The boys are growing up!
