Baseball and Cabin
On Saturday we watched Dalton play in his end of the season tournament. They were three exciting close games and the Raiders came out on top taking 1st place! Jason's parents also came down for the games and rented a cabin for the weekend. After being outside in the sun it was nice to get some rest in the cabin after a yummy steak dinner. The next day Darin and the boys took us out on their boat for some awesome tubing on the lake. Colin loved the ride and was often asking to go faster! It was a fabulous weekend!
Twins Game
Last Wednesday we took both boys to see the Twins take on the Cleveland Indians for another Twin's victory! We are 3-0 at the new stadium. Colin definitely enjoyed the nicer weather this second time around and traded in that warm hot cocoa from last game for a refreshing ice cream treat. Justin was in awe taking in the field and all the people on his first Twins game.

Been a While...
Sorry it has been a while since the last posting. It has been a bit hectic around here with lots of fun activities. Last month Angie's parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary!! The entire family gathered together on a paddle boat ride down the scenic St. Croix River. It was a beautiful day and much fun was had by all.
4th of July weekend was a busy one as we headed by to North Dakota to visit Jason's family. It was especially nice as all three Elliott brothers were home at the same time. Colin and Justin had lots of fun with the bubble gadgets, watching the trains, playing with their cousins' dog, Pete, and the weather was perfect for the slip n slide.
The actual 4th of July was spent with Angie's family. Mike and Lamiae hosted a fabulous 4th of July celebration complete with hayride and magnificent fireworks.
Today we got to test out our new bike trailer. We discovered AWESOME trails just a few miles from our house. Colin loved zooming along the trails and I was so impressed he was able to keep up with Jason along hills and turns. I honestly had a hard time keeping up so I'm blaming it on the bike and not because I am out of shape. Justin didn't like the ride as much as we had hoped which actually worked out well as a storm was brewing and we got back to the truck just before the heavy downpour started. The afternoon finished with some yummy Dairy Queen treats. :)
