Colin also got to try out flag football this Spring playing with all of his friends on the Rams team. He had a ton of fun! It was so neat watching these older kids play! They were just like the pros with their offensive throws and plays. It was a very fun way to spend our Sundays!

Flag Football-Spring Season
We just finished up our Spring season of flag football. Justin and Adam played on the same team and Jason helped coach the Redskins. Games/practices were once a week and held on the Moundsview High School football field! Adam loved being able to play with the big kids. Though he may not have been as fast as our older players he played aggressively and had many nice plays on defense and many strong offensive runs. Justin also loved playing flag football and having 2 of his close friends on the team. Justin is an awesome all around player! Coach put him in backfield for defense to contain and stop any break aways. Speedy Justin was a rock star both on defense and offense scoring many touchdowns.

Berry Hill Farm
Last week the boys and I went to Berry Hill Farm in Anoka, MN to pick delicious strawberries! I had 4 awesome helpers so it didn't take long to get 3 baskets of the most yummy strawberries! We will be back again soon as these will disappear fast!

Valentine Hills Fun Run
This morning the Elliott family participated in the 3rd annual Valentine Hills Roadrunner Fun Run. It was a beautiful morning for a run. My friend, Amber, and I started the morning off with the 5K. It felt great but oh, those hills are always a bummer. Colin and Justin rocked the kids 1 mile with Colin getting a new PR of 6:18! Justin finished strong but the last 1/4 mile was tough. He powered through with an awesome time of 7:50! Adam was pumped to do the family run with Jason. He ran most of it and finished in 18 minutes! The rain held off and we had a fabulous morning with our friends and families of Valentine Hills!
