Christmas fun continues....

December has had lots of magical moments. Last Sunday the boys had their Sunday School program. It was Adam's first program and he looked so cute and grown up--my handsome boys. :)






Today marked the last day of school before the start of Winter break for Colin and Justin. The boys love school but break is already filled with awesome events--play dates, basketball camps, Christmas, New Years!! It was party day at school and I was able to help out in Justin's class while Jason went to Colin's activities. Valentine Hills has a yearly sing-along where students gather into the gym and family and friends join in in singing familiar Christmas songs. It is very cute and there are always a few character visitors that make appearances throughout the event. During the afternoon I helped out in Justin's classroom. Wow, kindergartners have a lot of energy! :) It was cute to get a glimpse of Justin's world at school.

Stages Theater-Rudolph

Last weekend we saw a super cute production of Rudolph at the Stages Theater. We all loved it!

 

Christmas Season

It may be gray and blah outside but it is still a wonderful time of year. The boys and I have been busy making yummy cookies and finished up some adorable homemade ornaments for Christmas gifts. Yesterday evening we took a ride to St. Paul to look at some fun Christmas lights. We are much the wiser going on a weekday and got right in to drive along Lake Phalen and ooh and ahhh at the colorful lighted displays. Hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season!

Birthday Tubing at Elm Creek

We went tubing at Elm Creek for Colin's birthday party yesterday. It was the perfect day for tubing-30 degrees, no wind, no lines. It was AWESOME! After the party we headed back to our house for pizza and ice cream cake. It was a fun party. :)

 














The next day we had family over to celebrate Jennifer, Laura, Karl, Justin, and Colin's birthdays. It was a very nice afternoon with family. The boys are so spoiled with all these presents they have been getting these past few weeks.

Colin's 9th Birthday!

9 is super fine and so divine! Happy birthday to our awesome Colin! The birthday boy started his day with yummy homemade caramel rolls. Since his birthday fell on a Wednesday, Adam, Jason, and I all got to have lunch with Colin at school. After school we opened some presents and ate birthday ice cream per the birthday boys request. He now states that ice cream is his dessert of choice and really doesn't care for cake much anymore. The night ended with supper at Perkins (He loves their rainbow pancakes). More birthday fun to continue this Saturday as we head to Elm Creek for some tubing. :)
