Colin's 3rd Grade Basketball Season

It was another fabulous basketball season! Colin played in an in-house league with 3rd and 4th graders. Wow, basketball takes on a whole new level at this age. Jason coached the team again with a season record of 8 and 2! It was fast paced with some intense defense. Colin was so awesome out there with his hustle, rebounding, and team playing skills. He is such an amazing athlete and we are so proud of him!

Wild Mountain Skiing

On Monday we took Colin and Justin skiing at Wild Mountain. It was Justin's first time out on the slopes and he was awesome! Jason spent the morning with him on the beginner slope getting him acclimated to skiis. It was a crowded day as the weather was warm and kids had the day off from school. Colin and I did a few runs on the mini hill and then quickly headed off to the chair lifts. After lunch, Justin was also ready to ride the chair lifts and try out some beginner runs. He was great especially considering the people he had to maneuver through along the way. On his last run of the day he went the entire way without falls! He and I then headed into the chalet for an afternoon snack. Jason and Colin stayed out, and I later found out they went down the black diamond runs. It's a good thing I wasn't skiing with him in the afternoon as I would have never let him go down them. Yikes!! Jason said he rocked them! It was a super fun day!

Children's Museum-Clifford

On most Wednesdays, Adam is mommy's helper as we go grocery shopping at Target and run miscellaneous errands. Last Wednesday, though, I decided it was time for a mommy and Adam day. :) We spent our morning at the Children's Museum to see their Clifford exhibit. It was a lot of fun!

Happy New Year!

2015 is off to an awesome start! We spent New Years with my sisters and their families at the Holiday Inn. We all had such a fun night playing games and hanging out in the mini water park. Cheers to 2015! :)

Merry Christmas!!

We had such a nice Christmas this year. The Meissners hosted Christmas Eve. It was a wonderful evening of family, food, and presents! Christmas Day was just our family. A restful day of drinking coffee and watching the boys play with their toys. In the afternoon we headed to the movie theater to see Big Hero 6. The theater was packed but it may be the new tradition going forward :) Christmas continued into the weekend as Jason's folks came to stay for a few days. We went to the Ordway and saw "A Christmas Story" to celebrate the holiday and our wedding anniversaries. It has been a fabulous Winter break thus far. We are so blessed!
