Party Time

Justin had a joint birthday party with his best friend from preschool, Nolan. Justin and Nolan have the same birthday and have been at daycare together since they were 3 months old. Both boys enjoy arts and crafts so we decided to the party at Articulture. It's a fun art store in downtown Minneapolis. The kids designed their own animals masks using markers, feathers, tissue, and other fun materials. Justin had a lot of fun with his preschool friends and received all kinds of great gifts.

Fall Leaves

The weather is often questionable this time of year. We lucked out with a gorgeous sunny day last weekend for playing in the leaves. Adam was more brave this year and thought it very cute when we would bury Colin or Justin in the leaves and they would pop out at him. The boys also enjoy the game of burying hot wheels in the leaves and seeing who can find the cars the fastest. Football catch in the leaves always makes for great pictures. It's a great time of year!

Halloween

It was another spooktacular Halloween this year with the Meissners. Before heading to their house in the evening I got to help out at the boys parties earlier in the day. Justin and Adam had an outside parade around the office buildings as part of their Halloween festivities at New Horizon Academy. It was so fun to see all the kids in their costumes. I was amazed at how smoothly the parade went with that many kids! Later in the afternoon I headed to the elementary school so help out Colin's 2nd grade class. They had a very fun party of costumes, bingo, and treats. The boys hit the jackpot with candy in the evening. Amidst a mild drizzle of rain they loaded up on candy from the various homes in Rush City. It was a lot of fun!
