Christmas!

It was another awesome Christmas this year with lots of time spent with family! We had such a fun time last year in Detroit Lakes that we decided to do it again this year. Dalton had his wrestling tournament the weekend before Christmas and the Elliott side gathered together at the Holiday Inn for a super fun weekend.



We got back home on Monday and started cleaning up for Christmas Eve on Tuesday. We hosted my family and had a wonderful night together. Jason cooked up some fan-tab-u-lous! prime rib and everyone made it back home safely despite the cold and snow.





Christmas day was a lovely quiet day at home spent in pjs playing with all the new toys and presents. Wishing everyone health and happiness in the new year!

Holiday Programs

Sunday was an especially fun day this week! In the morning we watched Colin and Justin in their Sunday School Christmas program. They both sang so well and Colin even had a few lines to memorize. After church we went home to watch a Vikings victory over the Eagles. After Adam woke from his nap it was off to Stages Theatre to see Llama Llama Holiday Drama. We love the Llama Llama books so it was very cute to watch the show. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

Cookie Baker Helpers

It is Christmas cookie baking season and I have 3 of the best helpers on the planet. Adam was especially cute this year with his "boop, boop, boop" sprinkle technique. Love this time of year!

Timberwolves Game

Saturday night we saw the Timberwolves take on the Miami Heat with the Meissners and my dad. It was very exciting as we got to go in early and watch the players during warm ups. The boys even got autographs of Pekovic, Ricky Rubio, and others! We had plenty of time to explore the skyway level that contained concessions and fun basketball activities for the kids. We got crushed by the Heat, but it was still very awesome to see the game live at the Target Center!

Izzy's Ice Cream Party

This weekend we celebrated Colin's birthday with some of his friends at one of the best ice cream places in MN--Izzys! After filling up on some pizza and candy from a piñata, the kids got to make their own sundae with all kinds of yummy toppings. Even in the Winter with -7 temps the homemade ice cream was so delicious.
