Jenn and Mike's Reception

This past weekend we were in Detroit Lakes to celebrate the marriage of Jason's second cousin, Jennifer, to Mike. It was a fabulous time with amazing food, music, and social time with family. Colin and Justin especially enjoyed the table of various candy and had themselves a candy supper. "I'll eat healthy tomorrow," said Colin. Adam was again amazing and slept the entire time in his car seat even with all the commotion going on around him. Colin and Justin loved staying at the hotel as they got to go swimming. They especially loved getting to sleep together in the same bed and even staying up late to watch sports with Daddy.

Easter Fun

Easter marks Adam's first holiday and he was the perfect baby. We celebrated Easter with Angie's family and it was a gorgeous Spring day. Adam was super snugly and greatly enjoyed resting and being held by all of his aunties and cousins.

Colin and Justin were super excited about the Easter Bunny and got to go on Easter Egg hunts at home and at Grandpa and Grandmas house. Mommy is especially grateful her boys willingly share all their delicious candy. :)

Lots of cuteness

We have been having so much fun since coming home from the hospital. Adam is the center of attention and loves all the hugs and kisses from his brothers. Colin is a seasoned big brother and Justin is learning the role quickly. But too often we find ourselves saying "not so close... give Adam space..." :)

It's a BOY!

Adam Joseph was born at 3:56 p.m. on Monday, April 11th weighing 8lb 5oz and 20 1/4 inches in length. He is so adorable and we are very excited he is finally here!

Family grows by 3!....

No we did not have surprise triplets as we are still waiting for baby but we did get the boys a new fish tank for their bedroom! So far we have 3 Zebra fish with Justin being very quick to name his fish Charlie. Colin named the other two Larry and Harry. There seems to be a trend of no girls in this house. :)

March Madness

On Saturday, Grandpa and Grandma Elliott came to the cities to celebrate Grandma's birthday. We had lots of fun in their hotel swimming pool and ate a fabulous meal at Dangerfields. The cousins were all decked out in blue/white with crazy face paint after celebrating their girls basketball team's success to the state finals. Tabor, Tanner, and Dalton also got to practice their wrestling moves as Colin and Justin enjoyed tackling their older boy cousins.



Sunday afternoon, Jason took Colin to his first Timberwolves game! He has really been into watching any basketball game on TV this winter and figured the T-puppies would be an easy ticket to get. He had a blast and insisted on staying to the end even though the Wolves lost 127 to 95. He even got an autographed card from Crunch the mascot. This was our last busy weekend as we are now 38 weeks along and just waiting for our little bundle to arrive. :)

Tubing Time

The tradition continues as we headed to Elm Creek for another fun day of snow tubing! This year the chain of tubes got quite long as we had the the Meissners and Uncle Bryan with us making for extra fun down the slopes. Elm Creek even added some variation to their slopes with the favorite lane of course being the most steep and fast! At 8 months pregnant Angie was a bit hesitant to partake so she and Justin spent some quality time in the warming house. In the end, Justin did take a few runs and had a permanent grin the entire way down says Jason. He'll definitely be ready as a full time rider next year. What a great way to start March!
