Elm Creek Tubing

It was such a great day for tubing this year--warm, no lines, and fast snow lanes. It was super fun! It was Adam's first time tubing and he loved it. He had a "perma" grin each time he went down the hill--so cute! Elm Creek did not disappoint-awesome fun :)

Wednesday Bowling

Tonight we ventured to the local bowling alley for a family night of bowling. Colin has been bowling a handful of times for various birthday parties, but it was the first time bowling for both Justin and Adam. Colin started out the night with a strike--no bumpers, either! Adam added his own flare by doing a running start before pushing his ball off the helper ramp. Justin also had a great night with both a strike and spare during his game. We all had a super fun time. :)

 

Valentine's Day

We had an awesome Valentines Day holiday! Jason and I spent the week in Punta Cana in the Caribbean! It was 80 degrees with beautiful white beach and turquoise blue water! We had so much fun snorkeling, playing cribbage, and resting on the beach. We got back on the 14th so we celebrated Valentines Day with the boys a day late this year. The meal included heart shaped pancakes, strawberry toast, strawberry milkshakes, and cupcakes. Love, Love, Love :)

 

2nd Grade Basketball

It was another fun year of basketball for Colin. Jason coached the team, and the kids had a lot of fun and really improved over the season. Colin is a basketball stud, and it was so fun to see him not only score baskets but really help out his team with passing and help others score as well.

Tooth Fairy

Justin lost his 1st tooth last night!! The dentist made us aware that two of his bottom teeth were getting loose at his last dentist appointment a few months ago. Since then we have been wiggling those teeth almost every night at bedtime after we brush our teeth. Last night, it was so loose I told Justin we could pull it out soon. He pushed on it with his tongue and out it popped!

Winter Fun

We've gotten so much beautiful fluffy snow this Winter. It has been hard to play outside in it, though, as the temperatures have been so bitter cold. Today was a gorgeous day with sun and 30 degree temps so we made sure to play outside for a few hours. It's a MN winter wonderland out there! :)

End of the Year

We had an awesome end to the 2013 year. Jason and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary on the 28th in St. Paul. We saw the movie Anchorman 2, walked around romantic Rice Park, amazing dinner at the St Paul Grill, and overnight at the gorgeous St. Paul Hotel. AWESOME ANNIVERSARY!!!


 








The Meissners helped us ring in the new year. We had so much fun with our new Wii game system. Lots of fun dancing on the game "Just Dance." We didn't think they'd make it but all the kids including Adam stayed awake for the ball drop at midnight. Here's to a fabulous 2014!
