Colin is 7!

Colin, you are such a big kid now! Happy 7th Birthday to our cool dude 1st grader!

The Grinch

We kicked off the Christmas Season with a trip to the Children's Theatre to see the showing of the "Grinch Who Stole Christmas." It was an especially fun time as we got to go with our friends the Porters who have kids similar in age to our delightful boys. It was a classic Dr. Seuss production with crazy costumes and fun rhythmic rhyming all set to music with some impressive singing. It was a great show!

We also had such a fabulous time with the Porters. The kids thought it would be a fun idea to turn their slumber party into a fort. Jason took on the challenge and the kids actually slept in the sun room fort all fortified with their handy flashlights and glow sticks. :)

Justin is 4!

Justin's 4th Birthday Party!

On Saturday we celebrated Justin's 4th birthday with friends at Pump It Up. We had a super fun time on all the inflatable jumpers!

Halloween

Wow, Halloween time already! The boys love this holiday as they get to dress up and eat lots and lots of candy. There are so sweet,too, and tell me several times I can eat their candy whenever I want. We have the best boys!

The tradition of Halloween at the Meissners continued as we had a gorgeous night for trick o' treating. A delicious meal of bbqs started the evening and yummy apple crisp capped off another fun Halloween!

Pumpkin Carving

Every year I am always amazed at Jason's pumpkin carving abilities. He is such a great dad but also quite the Jack o' Lantern expert! :) This year the pumpkins coordinate with the boys' costumes. We've got a puppy, Batman, and a Vikings player for trick o' treaters. Looking forward to our chilly Halloween on Wednesday!

Severs Corn Maze

The Lundgren sisters got the kids together for a crazy fun day at Severs Corn Maze! We were a bit nervous when we first arrived and saw a field full of parked cars. Thankfully, it is very big and spaced out with many fun activities that it didn't feel like there were many people there. It was a crisp gorgeous Fall day filled with pig races, giant slide, hay bail running, corn pit, pillow jumping, and lots of cute photo opportunities. The day started out with the corn maze in which the boys ran in crazy fashion looking for signs with Farmer Sever and all the while shouting, "Sign! Sign! Sign!" :) Adam loved being outside eating his french fries and mini doughnuts and giggled with smiles at all the exotic animals. It was super fun with appeal for all ages!
