Minnehaha Falls

I had the most awesome birthday! The day started with a morning run with two of my dear friends. The three of us then headed to Caribou and had birthday coffee outside on their patio in the beautiful morning sunshine. I returned home to the smell of delicious blueberry muffins, flowers, and homemade birthday cards. We then packed up a picnic lunch and headed to Minneapolis for some fabulous hiking at Minnehaha Falls. It was just perfect weather and we had so much fun hiking the beautiful trails that followed along Minnehaha Creek. After lunch we rented a 5 person bike and ate ice cream. That evening Jason and I had date night at Union Rooftop. It was an amazing birthday!!!

Berry Hill Farm

Last Thursday, the boys and I spent the morning picking delicious, amazing, wonderful strawberries at Berry Hills Farm in Anoka, MN. It was such a delightful morning! The boys were awesome helpers and we had an overflowing basket of strawberries within an hour. After we got home they washed and cut our strawberries and we've been enjoying them all week!

MN Landscape Arboretum

We had a fabulous time at the MN Arboretum today! The weather was perfect for hiking around the beautiful trails. The boys especially loved tracking down various lego sculptures throughout the area. We had a delightful picnic lunch, a few more lego creations to visit, and then headed back home for nap/rest.

Valentine Hills Fun Run

The end of May marked the second annual Valentine Hills Fun Run. It was a beautiful and sunny but cool morning for the 5K run. Colin and Justin rocked the kids one mile run. Colin came in second place and Justin looked amazing running the entire one mile with ease.

Justin's Kindergarten Graduation

This year marked a new milestone for Justin as he headed to Pike Lake for Kindergarten. He had a fabulous year making new friends and having fun all while getting a great education! He was a model student! So proud of our awesome Justin!!!
