Vikings Winter Park/Flag Football

All three boys are playing in a Spring Flag Football league. Colin's team had an awesome opportunity to practice with seven other teams at Winter Park. It was put on by retired defensive linebacker, EJ Henderson and had appearances by Victor, the Viking's mascot. The teams had mini scrimmages against each other in the practice facility and even got to tour the Vikings locker room! The boys thought it was very cool experience and Colin especially enjoyed getting to preview his future practice facility ;)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

It has been a while since the last post! We have had lots of fun this past month including a visit from our dear friends, The Porter Family. Our boys always have so much fun with their kids. It was a delightful weekend hanging out and slumber party fun. We also went to see the musical at the Children's Theater, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." It was a very cute production!

Colin's 4th Grade Traveling Basketball

This year Colin got to experience the world of traveling basketball! We had an awesome season with Jason acting as head coach for this B squad. Tournaments for the most part were quite local occupying 2 weekends out of the month. Most had a set up of 2 games on Saturday and 1 on Sunday morning. We had such fun families on the team and decided to add on an overnight tourney in Brainerd. Colin was amazing on the court! His ball handling skills greatly improved this season and no one can beat his hustle and rebounding skills. The other parents nicknamed him mini Jordan. :) We are so proud of our Colin! He had such a great season that he was asked to play with our top A squad in an extended Spring season. After a nice month long break in March, we played in an additional 3 tournaments the first three weekends of April. Again, families were impressed with Colin's skills and excited to have him part of the team. Adam is 5!

Our baby is 5 today! Happy birthday to our awesome Adam! Yesterday we went to the Eagle's Nest to celebrate with a few of his friends from daycare. The kids had a lot of fun running around the indoor play area. Birthday breakfast this morning was monkey bread for this little monkey.We opened some gifts and then off to daycare to play with friends. Happiest of birthdays, Adam!! We LOVE you!!!

Easter

We had a delightful Easter this year! The boys decorated some minion theme eggs, and they turned out extra cute! Easter morning the boys woke up to find their Easter baskets. We had Easter bunny butt pancakes for breakfast then headed outside for our egg hunt. It was a bit chilly but always fun for the boys. Mom and Dad, Matt and Deborah, Jennifer and Brian came over in the afternoon to celebrate the holiday. The kids were mostly outside playing soccer, shooting hoops, and Nerf gun action on the poor birds. We also got to celebrate Matt, Deborah, Damon, and Adam's birthdays.
