This morning we braved the chill and snow and joined the Meissner family for the Autumn Woods 5K run and 1K kids race. Despite slippery trails and bitter cold, Jason finished 9th overall and 4th in his age group! Colin also had a fabulous run and ran the entire race and finished 2nd in the 4 and under category! Mommy had fun running with Colin this time and opted out of the 5K race to get some extra cuddle time with Justin.
During the 5K race the kids got to hang out with the bumblebee, got their face painted, and of course had some quality wrestle time.
We are so proud of little cool dude runner!

Colin was lucky to inherit his parents' running abilities (and his fierce looks of determination are priceless!). Nice job today, guys!
Hi, I admire your stick to it perseverance in our first snowfall this season. Great job guys. How can Colin not do good with a mom and Dad that are such good runners. Loved the pictures.
