We went to Wild Mountain today and took Colin skiing for the first time. He LOVED it and is such a natural skier! He said he even liked it more than tubing! The first part of the morning was spent with Colin getting a feel/balance on skis, and Jason taught him how to snow-plough/stop. It wasn't long and he was cruising on his own showing no fear and eagerly made several runs down the starter hill. After lunch we tackled the tow rope taking it all the way to the top of the hill where Jason taught him how to ski from side to side down the hill to control his
speed. This took more practice and a few falls. By afternoon we were on the chair lift and were skiing down all kinds of full beginner trails. I still can't believe how well he did--he was so awesome!

Colin you were great for your first time. Dad wasn't to bad either. Looks like you have found a new sport.
nomorcColin, you are just a natural athlete! How awesome was that, skiing for the first time and doing so well. Looks like a lot of fun. Your Uncle Bryan would be so proud of you. Winter is his favorite season, and skiing is his great joy.
